AZ Hospital & Healthcare Assoc. launches enhanced online job service
Feb 3rd, 2010 - The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) Service Corporation announces the launch of its enhanced interactive job board, www.AzHealthjobs.com
The job board offers its members, and the healthcare industry at large, an easy-to-use
and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.
With Arizona's hospitals recognized as the one sector of the state's economy that has
grown throughout the recession, www.AzHealthjobs.com provides a much-needed
resource for employers as well as job seekers.
Hospitals currently employ 73,000 Arizonans and generate $11.5 billion to Arizona's
gross state product. Although the state's jobless rate continues to rise, the healthcare
community added 1,700 jobs last month.
"We're very excited about the enhancements to AzHealthjobs, because we know how
critical it is for employers in the healthcare industry to attract first-rate talent with a
minimum expenditure of time and resources," said Patricia Weidman, Director of
Workforce and Staffing Services for AzHHA. "And it's important for us to help enable
smooth career transitions for those seeking industry jobs."
Both AzHHA members and non-members can use AzHealthjobs to reach qualified
candidates. All employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based
on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates
daily. They also benefit from online reporting for job activity statistics.
For job seekers, AzHealthjobs is a free service that provides access to employers and
jobs in the healthcare industry. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can
browse, view and save available jobs based on their criteria. Job seekers can also
create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
